Notes, Continued.
Your driver-guide is extremely knowledgeable on the area and will provide
you with a lively, informed, commentary.
You should dress accordingly - no
point wearing smart shoes as you do
get out of the vehicle, and although
not for long, Exmoor is not a carpet of
green grass.
There are only two types of animal (different to where you live - unless
you live on Exmoor) that you run wild and free on Exmoor - the Red Deer
and the Exmoor Pony - which you will see.
|
General:
Remember,
you may be 1 of 6
passengers, I decide the route on
the day unless you request a
certain route on booking. However,
the vehicle can be hired as a
complete package for
less than 6
passengers - price on application.
The vehicle used is far from being a standard Landrover Defender and
is even fitted with air conditioning.
Carries six passengers in forward
facing seats.
No price reduction for children
or Senior Citizens.
If the vehicle
is required by a
group of six then a 10% discount
will be given if asked for.
Although the
vehicle is fitted with all
front-facing seats it might be
uncomfortable seating over 2.5 hours.
It is not suitable for people with bad backs, hip problems, if you
are more than 4 months pregnant, or young children under the age of 12.
The safari is an educational trip
and sometimes children lose
interest unless they are rocking all
over the moor.
